While photography shares fundamental artistic elements with painting and sculpture,
fine art photography uses the camera and post-processing as its unique tools for artistic expression.
Digital techniques are often employed to enhance and manipulate the image, aligning it with Steve’s conceptual goals.
Portrait fine art can be questioned as to the ability to manipulate the human form to unrealistic expectations.
Steve’s philosophy is that any changes done are realistic, in that ‘ where they not there a month ago’, or ‘will they be gone a month from now’, then it is reasonable to assume that during a good photography session, the image is reasonably attainable.
