I offer group rates for organizations that need a consistent look and feel for they brand.
Although I often have clientele come to my Pflugerville studio, I am just as happy to setup at a location of your choice as well. Many companies also have an ongoing relationship that allows their new team members to drop by the studio at their convenience.
What story are we trying to tell?
Business portraits are no longer created just for LinkedIn. They may appear on websites, social media, conference programs, press releases, advertisements, magazine articles, podcasts, marketing campaigns, and countless other places. Every one of those uses is another opportunity to make a first impression.
How do you want to be perceived? Should you appear approachable or authoritative? Innovative or established? Energetic or calm? Luxury-focused or down-to-earth?
Once I understand that answer, nearly every creative decision begins to fall into place. Are you a person whose brand is built around confidence and expertise. Strong posture, a tailored wardrobe, structured lighting, direct eye contact, and a refined office environment all reinforce that message.
Now imagine photographing that same person sitting casually on a couch, laughing off-camera in a colorful sweater with soft, airy lighting. It’s still a beautiful portrait, but it probably isn’t communicating the qualities their clients expect. That exact same portrait belongs to a life coach or an artist.
Suddenly, it feels authentic and appropriate.
Headshots vs. Portraits
The headshot session is designed to get the widest range of shots for you to use on your personal brand.All the images are captured from the chest up while I concentrate on coaching you to produce a number of different facial expressions that capture your unique personality. I recommend multiple changes of clothing to give you variety over the course of your sessions. Sessions last anywhere from 20 minutes to several hours entirely based on your needs, the number of looks you’d like photographed and the range of imagery you would like.
For portrait clients, we will go through a variety of looks, lighting and backgrounds. These sessions generally last a minimum of 3 hours and include a wide ranges of images from headshots to full body and everything in between.
Throughout the session, we will review several groups of images and progressively narrow them down to the photographs you wish to keep. Any images that are not selected will be deleted. This process helps us concentrate on the strongest photographs while also serving as a valuable coaching opportunity, allowing us to evaluate what works best and refine future images as we shoot.
At the conclusion of the session, you will choose the final images you would like to purchase from your selected favorites. The price of each image includes unlimited personal-use licensing, professional retouching, and delivery in multiple resolutions suitable for both social media and print. Final images are typically ready within one week of full payment.
